Step-by-Step Instructions on How to install Ace Connect
Step 1: Download Ace Connect & Launch the Installer
Click on the Download button above to download the installer file. Once Downloaded, Launch the installer by clicking on the Downloaded file or by manually double clicking on the "AceConnectInstaller.msi" file in your Downloads folder.
Step 2: Begin Installation
Once you are greeted with this Installer Window, You may click "Next" to begin configuring the installation
Step 3: Select Installation Path
By Default, "Everybody (All users)" is recommended. If you have administrative rights (generally ON by default if using personal PC/Laptop and restricted on company provided devices), You should go with the recommended option. Else You may also select the "Only for me" option to install the application for just your user account
Step 4: Other Settings
There is no need to change any settings in further configuration screen unless you like to install the application in a different directory {Not Recommended}.
Step 5: Configuration
Ace Connect is now successfully installed. A configuration window would popup on your screen automatically. Click on "Begin Configuration" button while keeping your Ace Cloud Username, Servername & Password handy as these will be required in further steps.
Step 6: Enter your AceCloud Details
In the following screens, Enter your AceCloud username, servername & password (Generally provided over email during initial onboarding). Example of username: "AliceG". Example Servername: "MycompanyLLC.myrealdata.net".
Step 7: Click on the center Connect button to Initiate Connection
Once the configuration is complete, You'll be greeted with the Main Ace Connect screen. You may click on the center Power Button to connect to your server.
Step 8: Enter credentials one last time to authenticate!
In some cases, You might be prompted to enter your credentials again. Please enter the same username and password you entered earlier one more time. Do note, Windows might automatically pre-select your local credentials. You'll be required to click on "More Choices" -> Use a different account -> Enter your username with "@myrealdata.net" suffix as shown in the image below. Then enter your ace cloud password.
Step 9: You're all Set!
Your application is now configured and ready to connect you to your brand new Ace Cloud experience
